Challenge #3 - Scraps & Stitches

There are so many amazing papers and embellishments available today. Sometimes it is hard to know where to start, especially if you are on a limited budget. So, why not turn your paper scraps & sewing supplies into dimensional embellishments?

We created this mini album by using Mandi's idea for making a Saint Patrick's Day pin and and layering flowers we cut out of Jocelyn's ROTFL paper. We used leftover scraps of paper from several different collections including - Jocelyn, Christmas Mint, Chick-a-doo, & Bridgeport and items that could be found in a sewing box, Chick-a-doo buttons & Bridgeport ribbons.

Our challenge for the month of March is to create a project or scrapbook layout using scraps of paper and items that could be found in a sewing box - buttons, thread, ribbons, fabric...

To participate in the challenge:
1. Create at least one project or scrapbook layout using paper scraps & things that could be found in a sewing box.
2. Use at least 1 SEI product.
3. Comment on this post stating what SEI product(s) you used.
4. Make a link in your comment to an image of your project or e-mail it to us at seiblog{at}shopsei{dot}com.
5. Do it by April 1st.

Thanks everyone who participated in February's challenge! It was a great success. You did a wonderful job interpreting the sketch in uniquely beautiful ways. We were very impressed with your creativity! Here are the layouts that caught our eye:

The first is a Chocolat layout by Alaina from her Glue Dots & Glitter blog. Stampin' Mindy used the Happy Day collection for her My Little Diva layout posted on her blog.

We love the way Pam used the Chick-a-doo collection on this layout she posted on her blog, Scrapbook Flair. Andrea used Kitty's Place for this layout on this blog.

Here's a beautiful Moravia layout from Scoobie's Lille Blog. Last, you can find this layout from our red linen box kit on the Attainable Treasures blog (P.S. it is a steal right now).

Good luck on the new challenge!
