Lisa created these cards for some friends she has been thinking of. What a nice reminder that we don't have to wait until a birthday or big event to tell those we care about they are on our mind.
These cards aren't over-the-top fancy. With a little tumble dye spray, a few strips, some felt flowers and a stamped sentiment Lisa was able to create lovely cards. They feel complete and unique, perfect for friends.

Lisa's Sunny Day cards make us so happy! We hope they will bring a little sunshine to your Monday.
She created a little scene using the Sunny Day die-cuts. The swirly rhinestone pattern looks like wind rustling in the trees.
This card was made especially for Lisa's daughter's birthday. Maybe you wouldn't think to mix craft paper with the bright flowers in the Sunny Day collection, but the contrast really makes the flowers pop.
The cut-out numbers really make the statement...This is a big birthday!
The last card is not only pretty, it also has a great quote from the die-cut accents on it. It's from Mother Teresa and reads "We shall never know all the good that a simple smile can do".
Now that Lisa has brightened our day with her cards, we can brighten someone else's day with a smile. Happy Monday!

Lisa used our new Corinne collection for this HAPPY birthday card. There are so many great shapes on this card from decorative edge on the top striped paper down to the scallop at the bottom. The scallop on the "happy birthday" tag reminds us of a cloud.
Lisa is great at clean and simple, but it's never boring. There are always nice well-placed finishing touches, like the heart and string on the kite.

Lisa's goal for this group of cards was to make them "light and cheery with a young feel". What a great description! It was smart of her to keep the recipients in mind when designing the cards. These were sent to some young ladies at her church. They were created from the With All My Heart collection.
Lisa designed a great card and switched it up with different flowers, instead of coming up with a new design for each girl. What a timesaver!

Lisa has designed two cards to share today. They are both very pretty and contrast each other.
First, this everyday card using the Corinne collection is bright and cheerful. The white leaf stamp and solid papers are a nice base for the flower die-cuts.
Who wouldn't be delighted with that sparkle?
Next, Lisa has an elegant wedding card using the White Elegance collection. This one is itty bitty, just right for a wedding gift.
So whether you have a big formal event coming up or just want to brighten someone's day, go make some cards! It's always good to have some on hand.

Lisa decided to break away from the traditional pink and red Valentine's colors for a happy spin on the holiday. She mixed two of our most cheerful collections, Corinne and Happy Day for this sweet gift basket.
One of the best things about this project is it could be used for a child or girlfriend since it's not too "lovey". We hope Lisa inspired you to think about non-traditional Valentine's colors and papers in a new way.
Now for the moment you've all been waiting for... The winner of the giveaway as selected by random.org is...

Thanks for playing, everyone and Happy Valentine's Day!

Lucky for us, we are having a blast creating fun projects for CHA with our new collections. They are so much fun to use!
That's not so lucky for you because we have been a little MIA on the blog lately. Don't you fear because Lisa has saved the day with this thank you set she made for someone who really deserved it!
Here's a detail of the pretty Moonrise card she included with the gift.
Here is the outside of the sticky note holder Lisa made.
This is the Moonrise sticky note inside.
If you are ready to make your own, Lisa explains how to do it.
"The sticky note holder measurements are- 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" then scored at 21/2", 3", 51/2",6", 71/2". Round corners and add velcro coin to close. Trim papers to same width but 1/16" smaller to take into account the score areas that you don't want covered or overlapping."
Thank you, Lisa!

Lisa has a beautiful winter birthday card to share. She did a wonderful job showing how the Kris Kringle collection can also be used for winter projects.
The rhinestones and glitter edge she added to the paper add just the right amount of sparkle. Notice the soft inking?

Has everyone finished all of their holiday decorating? If you haven't started or need a special finishing touch, Lisa has a great project idea for you.
She created this framed Christmas art using papers from the Kris Kringle collection and felt accents. As usual, she snuck in just the right amount of stamping. Notice the snowflakes at the bottom of the Christmas tree?
Wouldn't this be fun sitting on an entryway table? You could also hang it with some ribbon to greet your guests as they enter through the door.

We already featured Lisa once this month. But, we just couldn't help squeezing in this fun birthday card she made with the Monsterville collection.
It's a good reminder not to decide to soon what a collection should be used for. Some may think it's only good for little boys. However, Lisa thought outside the box and found papers that work perfectly for a 16 year old girl's birthday. Nice work!
