Cpt Jack Sparrow en zijn bemanning worden de nieuwe gezichten in de attractie Pirates of the Caribbean in Tokyo.“Jack Sparrow Comes to Tokyo Disneyland Pirate of Caribbean Attraction on July 20, 2007. Oriental Land Co., Ltd. announced on March 23, 2007 that the characters from the Disney movie “Pirates of Caribbean” would appear at the renewed attraction “Pirates of Caribbean” of Tokyo Disneyland on July 20. Due to renewal, the attraction will be closed May 7 through July 19. In renewal, in addition to Jack Sparrow, Davy Jones from the 2nd movie “Pirates of Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest” and Captain Barbossa who revived surprisingly at the end of the movie, will also appear in the attraction.“
Tokyo heeft zijn eigen versie van Pirates of the Caribbean maar er zullen toch een paar scenes uit Orlando bij zitten. In de attractie zal men o.a. Barbossa zien alsook de waterval met het gezicht van Davy Jones. In Hong Kong Disneyland krijgen ze hun eigen pirateneiland met de attractie in en dus blijft de vraag : wat doet men in Disneyland Resort Paris ? Zullen ze daar ook de attractie opfrissen en er nieuwe scenes bouwen zoals in Anaheim, Orlando en nu ook Tokyo of blijven ze bij de originele versie?
